Orwell -why secular states are as dangerous as Theocratic states

    You’re confusing “secular” with “totalitarian.” Orwell didn’t argue against the separation of church and state, but argued in its favor instead.

    Your right Ed-there is a confusion regarding totalitarian and secular,I was thinking about the secular fundementalist such as Dawkins, Harris and Dennett how they foster a sense of infallibilty much akin to theocracies.
